  The album in general is about overcoming struggles and trauma. “The things we go through when we’re young… it’s amazing.”
  In June 2015, I was sent spiraling downward into a depression. I had hit rock bottom; emotionally, financially, professionally, and personally. I’ll spare you the details of why, but I was literally coping with the most immense failures I’ve ever known all at the same time. Right in the middle of my darkest hour, (and nasty Prozac side-effects) my friend took me with him on a vacation to Florida. I spent three days just walking around the beach enjoying myself. It felt like much longer.
  This release is about that experience, as well as the hindsight of what felt surreal and strange at the time. All of these tracks were made in 2017.
